Get ready for the Kre8 48, St. Louis’ premier 48-hour film challenge. But this time, we're bringing together filmmakers, dancers, singers, and fashion designers for an intense weekend of creation, followed by a live showcase and award!
This is more than a film competition.
It’s a celebration of pop culture, performance, and creative expression across multiple disciplines.
THE CHALLENGE
All participants receive the official creative prompt at kickoff and must conceive, develop, and finalize original work within a 48-hour creation window.
No pre-existing scripts, choreography, songs, or designs are permitted.
One week later, all finalists premiere and perform their work live in front of an audience at Kre8 Spaces.

How It Works!
1. Register to Compete
Choose your category: Film, Dance, Vocal Performance, or Fashion.
2. Prompt Reveal (Kickoff)
All participants receive the official creative prompt and required element at the start of the 48-hour challenge.
3. Create in 48 Hours
Participants must create their work from scratch within the 48-hour window.
4. Submit Your Work
Final films and performance documentation must be submitted by the deadline.
5. Live Showcase & Awards
Selected entries are showcased live at Kre8 Spaces, with winners announced across four categories.
